Episode #14: San Carlos de Bariloche.
Wednesday Aug 17, 2022
Wednesday Aug 17, 2022
We are now in the beautiful San Carlos de Bariloche. What a wonderful place this would be for a vacation home! Most people here live on “Island Time”; slow and laid back. This episode we talk a bit more about the social side of traveling abroad rather than the economic side. The fish are even so laid back, you can catch them with your bare hands!
We also discuss the possibility that some people might be cut out for forever travel rather than a forever home. Will there ever come a time when what we consider ‘boring’ will no longer be boring and when consistency is refreshing and comfortable? Only time will tell!

Episode #13: Understanding International currency, government, and economics.
Wednesday Aug 17, 2022
Wednesday Aug 17, 2022
This Podcast episode took a turn we didn’t expect as we talk about international currency, government, and economics. Being in other countries who don’t share our American freedoms has made us very aware of how frail our system of Democracy is. Within one or two generations it can all be gone. We need to be aware of what’s happening around us, in our Country, and speaking up and voting in the direction we want to go. Our forever home must include thinking about the political and economic landscape as well as the weather and terrain. The picture-perfect postcard needs some context! It’s not just about how it looks, but about how it functions, as well.
